Security Cameras Systems

I have been looking… I know i can get a system at SAM’S for 500 dollars but it only has 4 cameras… i haven’t found one that is reasonable that may have 8+ cameras without paying thousands… I am visually impaired and we’ve been having some “snoopers” lately and want to beef up the security around the house (visual security with taping capabilities)… if you know of something good AND inexpensive, please tell me…

I have some cameras surrounding my home (came with house) and they are fed to one single monitor (in a room that im never in) which rotates images, im wondering if there’s a Device i can buy that i can pick up the feed wireless to my other televisions in my home. appreciate your help….

I have an older security system. Exxis is the brand with telephone connectors and wire not coax. I get audio but no picture from any of the cameras, three set up. I’m guessing it’s a problem with the monitor and would like to know if it is worth repairing or just replacing. Any suggestions on how to find the problem myself? Three cameras with motion detectors run through recorder. Have contacted Exxis and the monitor is obsolete and they, of course, suggest replacing with one of their current models.

Okay, so i own my own small business. I just want a camera with audio for recording of my staff. I am getting two Linksys WVC54GCA cameras because they are cheap and what i want. I will get a cheap wireless G router to connect them. However, i don’t want to record on my PC because i don’t want my staff to access it. I need to be able to store it on some type of Network storage device that i could remotely view from home. I found a DVR i could view remotely but i don’t know if i could reocrd to it. It had what looked kind of like coxial cable hookups with a pin in the middle. In conclusion, i need a Network storage device or network DVR that i can view remotely and that i can record to over a network from my linksys WVC54GCA cameras

simmilar to something like the huge network of cameras like they have in parts if England.

would like info on the best and affordable wireless security camera systems. Need at least 4-5 cameras. Need wireless, outdoor use, night vision, and zoom features for plate and face identification. a large area needs to be covered (about 3 acres). However, I mainly need to survelence for parking entrance/exit, Cash register, and 2 locations of shipping and receiving. need to know how to relay feed to central computer which in some cases is over 1200 feet away from the camera feed. thanks!

hi i am looking for a programmable home security camera system that will record on to hard drive, and will take between 4/8 cameras it must also contain a large hard drive for storage but 2 cameras will do for now & must be reasonably priced must have all attachments required to plug & play as i dont want to be robbed from add ons . thanks

I need help. I want to set up a wireless security camera in my business in the Philippines and view activity here in the United States. Can someone out there guide me on what I need? (e.g. cameras, software, computers, etc..) I want to set up at least 4-8 wireless camera throughout the building. I want something not too fancy and not to pricey.. Let me know?

Wow, that undress sister????? Not even! I needed to know basic info, I can install myself but I was seeking opinions for my home to monitor the indoors of my home and also my dogs activity when I am not around. Probably to a DVR or HDD depending.

It was suggested to me to start my own private contractor business when proposed with a job offer from my father in law.
He owns his own home business installing security camera systems. He suggested I start a business and would use me as a private contractor when helping him with these installations. Mainly running video cables and mounting cameras.
He also suggested I call the bank and ask for the cheapest Business account available and once he’s paid I deposit tht money into the account and pay myself from it. Also to keep a percentage in there to cover my taxes.

My brother suggested checking into LLC also.

But I believe there has to be more than just opening an account to run a business.
I’ll be working for his business as a private contractor exclussively, no one else. I will not have employees and all that. Just me helping him.
What steps do I need to take in doing this?
What are the benefits of using me as a contractor and not an employee?
