wireless home security camera

Since last fall, I’ve been having problems with vandalism, mostly with my truck. There has been five different incidents, (At home: Rock chucked at Front Window of house, Allen Wrench stabbed through passenger-side rear tire; at school, valve stem cut on front driver’s side tire, rear passenger-side fender keyed, big dent in top of passenger side front fender). The fender thing happened today, and I’ve decided that was the last straw. I finally went off the deep end.

After getting the dent mostly pounded out, I drove to the Salem Spy Shop and inquired about security cameras for my vehicle. The guy said he had an awesome kit for my truck that contained a wireless camera about as big as half a roll of quarters (hooks up to battery, transmits a signal from 300 feet away), a hidden microphone, and a receiver. The camera is easily hidden and rotates a full 360 degrees. Cost: $90, plus installation.

Now that I’m getting this hooked up (Not until next week), what should I do when I finally catch the bastard who’s doing it? Sue him, get him arrested, blackmail, beat him up, do something even worse to his car, what do you guys think?
I can hide the transmitter in the glove box, it’s small enough.

What I’d also like to do is get a custom window sticker that says, “Smile, fucker, you’re on candid cam!” but I think that just gives it away. What do you think on that?
No, nobody else has access to my truck. It has two coded keys, and those are the only keys that work with the vehicle. I keep one set within five feet of me at all times; the spare set is in my fire safe.

security cameras systems

Most stores have some sort of security system that involves video surveillance. But is it illegal for the cameras to also be recording audio - and the employees monitoring those cameras thus listening to private conversations? Or are customers foregoing such rights to privacy once they enter the store?
